Little River, SC
This didn't get published this evening so you will probably see two logs the same day. Sorry 'bout that.
I am trying to get boat projects done. Today Richard Truett and I pulled a wire in to replace the one that went bad from the starter to the starter switch. Got that one done. Next we started relocating the stern light which became obscured when the rack for the wind generator and solar panels was installed. We got the necessary holes drilled and the wire installed but it was getting cold and dark so we decided to finish the job tomorrow morning. This took basically all day.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Lynda was working on provisions. She is keeping an inventory of what all we have aboard. She brought two cart loads to the boat and there is another cart load in the condo. That doesn't count all the meat that we had in the freezer that was brought back to the condo and now needs to go back to the boat. We are going to eat well.
Tomorrow will be all about getting things organized in the boat. Don't know where we will put it all. Lynda will find a way. Then we plan to move on to the boat Sunday so if we are missing anything we will still have the opportunity to get it.
Mark and Judy were to return from Puerto Rico this evening and I was to pick them up at the airport. Their plane was delayed leaving PR and it arrived in Ft. Lauderdale at the exact minute that the plane for Myrtle Beach left. They are spending the night on a 100' yacht that belongs to the son of a friend of theirs that they crossed the Indian Ocean with. They will come in on the same flight that the had planned only a day late. I'll still pick them up tomorrow evening.
