Cumberland Island National Sea Shore, GA
We slept long and hard last night. Almost 11 hours. Wonderful calm anchorage. The early part of the day was spent cleaning the mess from the rough trip in here. Lee & Mark tinkered with Marks motor. It would run a little then quit. We hope we got the damage on our dinghy repaired. Lee & Mark patched it but you need to wait 24 hours to test it. It was about 70 degrees at mid day so seemed like a good time to clean on the boat which gets dirty amazingly fast. Lee and the Handleys explored the island. Has cooled down now that it is dark. Thank heavens for Bonnie Williams propane heater. Plans for what comes next are up in the air.
We were considering another two day and two night jog outside, but the weather is now calling for 5-7 foot seas with some to 9 feet. We are not going to do that intentionally so it looks like the next part of the trip will be down the ICW.
We are not big on taking pictures, but Judy Handley is a prolific photographer. If you would like to see pictures of our trip go to:

You can read her version of the trip and see the pictures. Just click on one of her pictures and it will take you to their album for that day.
