Another day . . .

12/09/14
Little River, SC

. . . another dollar.  Not much accomplished today.  I blew the morning at a board of directors meeting for the Home Owners Association.  A somewhat contentious meeting, but that is another story.

While Mark received another treatment, Judy went to West Marine in Murrels Inlet and picked up the wire we needed for the inverter.  She was also able to get 303 Aerospace Protectant and 303 Fabric Protectant.  That should have us in good stead for a few months.

This afternoon Mark and I went to work on Sea Turtle but Jack was there making patterns and we didn't want to get in his way so we went to Windbird and hung out.  One small project on Windbird was to snake a propane hose through the dorade to be attached to a Mr. Heater.  They will be able to attach a full 20 pound propane tank and have lots of warmth.  We have arrived at a somewhat similar arrangement using our 10 pound tanks so the first few days out may not be all that miserable.

After waiting some time we decided that it was going to be too late to work once Jack was finished so we called it a day and I came on to the condo.  Wasted the evening watching TV.  Well try to finish the inverter in the morning.

Judy invited us for lunch tomorrow and then at 2:00 we are all going to Myrtle Beach Yacht Club (just across the way) to visit Joyce and Bo Chesney on Dream Catcher and their friends  who frequent the Abacos.  Joyce and Bo go to the Exumas.  We are going to try to glean as much information and advice as we can.  Really looking forward to that visit.
