Frazzled

Monday, 12/29/14
Little River, SC

Today was all the last minute stuff that has to get done.  Lynda prepared fresh veggies and got eggs. She also  had some sewing projects she was trying to finish.  Unfortunately, for the first hour and a half the sewing machine would not play nice with her.  Frustration!

To make matter worse, when we were at our storage unit we (read I) forgot to close and lock the unit.  We left it standing wide open.  The manager found it and put her lock on it until we got back to lock it up.

Today was also the day Mark and I went to  the doctor.  Mark got a treatment and I had 8 stitches removed from the incision where a basil cell carcinoma was removed.

We are fortunate to have good friends. Terri is going to handle our mail while we are gone.  She will let us know what needs dealt with and what can wait.  She went out to dinner with us and we talked .about all the possibilities she may have to deal with.

Lastly, friend Pat followed Lynda to the condo to park the car and pick up a couple of books. She brought her back to the boat.  She is going to start the car and truck occasionally while we are gone.

So, back to the beginning.  We are frazzled.  Maybe a little more than frazzled.  Hopefully when we get underway things will settle down and we will be able to relax.
